BCCI Apex Council Representative (Female)
Having led the Indian women’s team from 1976 to 1985, Rangaswamy and her then teammates held women’s cricket together in its early days. The former Karnataka stalwart headed the national selection committee twice before becoming a member of the BCCI’s Cricket Advisory Committee.

Cricketing and Administrative Credentials
- I have played for Karnataka (1973-1994, South Zone (1974-94), India (1975-1991) for many years.
- I have led India from 1976 to 1985. I was the Joint Secretary of erstwhile Karnataka Ladies Cricket Association.
- I was also the Chairman of the National Selection Committee from 2002-2006 and again from 2013-2016.
- I have been in various Sub-Committees of BCCI including Cricket Advisory Committee & Steering Committee of Indian Cricketers Association.
