Membership Fee

ICA may facilitate the payment of the annual membership fee applicable to each member of the ICA (“Membership Fee”) through the Website

The payment terms and applicable amount of the Membership Fee shall be as specified on the Website at the time of making the purchase. All transactions are in Indian Rupees unless otherwise specified.

If ICA inadvertently states an incorrect Membership Fee at the time of payment, we reserve the right to subsequently notify you of such error. We will always act in good faith in determining whether a genuine error has occurred. In case of any inadvertent error, the ICA at its sole discretion reserves the right to rectify the error by requiring you to pay the difference in amount or refund the money as deemed fit.

The ICA may modify the Membership Fee payable from time to time. You agree to pay the Membership Fee applicable at the time of making your payment.

Payment

When you make payment of the Membership Fee you must provide us with complete and accurate payment information. By submitting payment details, you promise that you are entitled to pay the Membership Fee using those payment details. If we do not receive payment authorization or any authorization is subsequently cancelled, we may immediately reject your payment. In suspicious circumstances, we may contact the issuing bank/payment provider and/or law enforcement authorities or other appropriate third parties. If you are entitled to a refund in accordance with the terms and conditions set out below, we will credit that refund to the card or other payment method you used to submit payment unless it has expired in which case we will contact you through the email address and/or mobile phone number provided by you and as available with the ICA.

All payments for the Membership Fee on the Website shall be made through such platform as may be determined by ICA from time to time in its sole and absolute discretion.  Accordingly, your usage of such third-party services shall be in accordance with the terms and conditions adopted and implemented by such service provider, and ICA shall not be responsible for any failed or incomplete fulfilment of any payment instructions issued by you through such service provider or any actions taken by ICA in respect of the same.

Invoice and Communication Regarding Payment

ICA will send confirmation of your payment of the Membership Fee via SMS or email using the communication details provided by you at the time of registration.

ICA may contact you through the modes mentioned above for any pending or failed payment of the Membership Fee, to be aware of your preference for concluding the payment and also to help you with the same.

You hereby unconditionally consent that such communications via SMS and email by the ICA are:

  1. upon your request and authorization;
  2. ‘transactional’ and not an ‘unsolicited commercial communication’ as per the guidelines of Telecom Regulation Authority of India (TRAI), and
  3. in compliance with the relevant guidelines of TRAI or such other authority in India and abroad.

You shall indemnify ICA against all types of losses and damages incurred by the ICA due to any action taken by TRAI, Access Providers (as defined under the TRAI regulations) or any other applicable authority due to any erroneous complaint raised by you on ICA with respect to the communications mentioned above or due to an incorrect number or email id being provided by you for any reason whatsoever.

Refunds/Cancellations

We reserve the right to issue refunds at our sole discretion. If we do issue a refund, we are under no obligation to issue the same or similar refund in the future.

Refunds, if any, shall always be processed to the respective account or the banking instrument (credit card, wallet etc.) from which payment was made for the subscription package.

Except as specified herein, Membership Fee once paid shall not be cancelled or refundable for any reason whatsoever.
