Greetings!

The ICA’s insurance facility has been extended to all those members who are not covered by BCCI’s Medical Reimbursement – Male or Female and who have expressed their interest to be included in ICA extended Insurance Scheme. Last year ICA had covered 219 Members under its top-up insurance policy that provided hospital treatment benefit of up to Rs. 2,50,000 after an initial payment/insurance of Rs. 1,00,000.

The new Board after a lot of deliberation has decided for a full coverage of Rs 1.50 lakh sum assured for each eligible member and not restrict the coverage to a topup and the premium for the same has been paid to ICICI Lombard.

Kindly note that the insurance coverage has started from 6th January 2023 and will be valid till 5th January 2024. We have insured 109 members in the first lot and 19 members in the second lot under this medical insurance scheme. A total of 128 members are insured under this policy. The policy for each member covered under this scheme will be communicated over mail with all the details.

As the group insurance for this year has already started from Jan 6th 2023 onwards any addition to this will be on a pro-rata basis with the number of months available after the Board approves the same. The next batch should start from 1st April 2023 onwards.
