UPDATED ON 1ST JUNE 2022
Dear Member,
Greetings from ICA.
You will be aware that members who have played 10 and more First-Class matches (3 days, 4 days, and 5-day matches) are covered under the BCCI Medical Reimbursement Scheme which allows for claims of up to Rs 10 lakh in one’s lifetime. Unlike with the ICA Membership, the BCCI does not take into account two-dayers, one-dayers or T20s for their Medical Reimbursement Scheme.
In this regard, for all the members who have recently joined us, kindly be aware that the ICA has provided top-up insurance for 189 female members and then an additional 13 members (both men and women included) in the second round and 7 members in the third round thus far, all of whom have played less than 10 FC matches as per the BCCI’s definition.
The ICA Board wants to extend this top-up insurance policy that provides hospital treatment benefit of up to Rs. 2,50,000 after an initial payment/insurance of Rs. 1,00,000 to all other male and female members who haven’t played 10 or more FC matches and are thus not covered under the BCCI Medical Reimbursement Scheme. All such members, if they wish to avail this top-up insurance cover, are requested to send a mail to membership@indiancricketersassociation.com with cc to office@indiancricketersassociation.com.
Please furnish proof of the breakup of matches you have played in the below format (matches in which you have been in the playing XI only) along with your profile link available in ESPNCricinfo/Cricket Archives (if any) :
